Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is seeking $18M in the state's supplemental budget to support his $700M blight elimination plan. The governor introduced his strategy in January to demolish vacant buildings and finance developers' plan to revitalize the city through revenue bonds, Rental Assistance Demonstration program and other sources. Funding for the program wasn't included in Hogan's initial 2017 budget proposal, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. [BBJ]
