If you worked in the hotel sector, you wouldn't have needed a coat when you headed out this morning. That's because you'd be in LA for the big ALIS hotel show, where we snapped CohnReznick Baltimore audit partner Joyce Price, Bethesda senior manager Jeremy Colville, and Baltimore tax partner Kurt Sturn with La Quinta Inns SVP David Wilner. Kurt tells us everyone in the hotel biz is busy expanding their portfolios, as an upswing in value creation is starting. NOI seems to be going up, though healthcare and labor costs are casting a shadow. He adds that the Niners fans they've been betting with out there have no clue what Ray Lewis and the gang have in store for them.
