Frank Gehry’s Take On Columbia

Baltimore
Placeholder

Frank Gehry, architect of the former Rouse HQ in Columbia, is a total fan of Howard Hughes Corp's adaptation of the 151k SF building into community retail, says the company's Caryn Kboudi (right, whom we snapped with colleague Michelle Waak at ICSC's New York Conference this week). It'll have a Whole Foods and a fitness center, and another floor is left to lease. She says Frank has visited the site and lends his full endorsement of the new version. The original, done in 1974, was one of his earliest gigs.
