A NEW WAY TO LOOK AT THINGS
He might not look the part, but MacKenzie?s Matt Felton is a revolutionary (the good kind). His GIS team, which just doubled in size (to two) with the addition of Lance Dorn, is changing the research landscape with a new way to view data. We'll let the cool map below speak for itself.

We're not certain, but we think the Doppler Radar is involved somehow. This is his preliminary Q4 map on changes in asking rents. Matt tells us it shows the bleeding has stopped and that rents are stabilizing. You can see positive rent growth in green near Ft. Meade (thank you BRAC) and modest declines in orange near Harbor East and the CBD. Upon closer inspection, that looks like either snow or more NNN leases by the weekend.
