One of Atlanta's retail icons—and the host of one of Las Vegas' biggest parties during ICSC's annual RECon convention—is spreading into third-party servicing.

Hendon Properties has launched Hendon Retail Services and tapped Jackie Wammock (here) to spearhead the new division. Hendon founder Charlie Hendon said the new division is aiming to "fill a void" in what he sees as third-party retail management that does more than just lease space.

Under Wammock's leadership, the retail services division will also spearhead redevelopment programs. "We are currently talking with several family funds as well as other institutional owners about management and leasing opportunities," Hendon said.

Wammock is an avid equestrian and personally owns 10 horses. She also owns Red Bank Farm in Commerce.
