Vonage Phoning Up Wildwood?

Atlanta Office

An Internet phone company could be dialing up space in Wildwood. Sources tell us that Vonage is eyeing two floors of sublease space at 3200 Wildwood, a move that would consolidate its office operations from both Pershing Point Plaza (here) and Alliance Center. Vonage's Jo Ann Tizzano confirmed that the company was in the market for office space, but declined to identify where it was looking and for how much.

The deal is being run by CBRE's Sam Holmes and Ryan Hudson, neither of whom returned calls seeking comment. The deal comes just months after Vonage purchased Atlanta-based Vocalocity, a VoIP company targeting small business customers. Sources say Vonage's office search has focused on the 'burbs versus the city, including Central Perimeter and Cumberland/Galleria, where Wildwood is located, with an RFP that could top 70k SF. But according to press reports in Atlanta Business Chronicle today, Vonage's Atlanta operations could be much larger some day—encompassing 200k SF.
