SEC Reveals Atlanta Buys

Ebix reports in an SEC filing that it's purchased a new HQ building in Atlanta. The healthcare insurance software company paid $12.5M for an unnamed HQ facility, according to docs. We reported here that building is 75 Hospital Pkwy, a 100k SF MOB next to Emory Johns Creek Hospital, where it will consolidate its corporate ops from Concourse Corporate Center.

Florida-based Trade Street Residential has entered the Alpharetta apartment market. The firm reports to the SEC that it's purchased Waterstone at Big Creek, a 270-unit apartment complex for $40.5M this past April. And the company further says that it will acquire an additional 100 units that are under construction at Big Creek for $15M.
