Sources say a permit filed in Atlanta for a Project Shark at 1100 Fulton Industrial Blvd is laying the groundwork for a massive UPS campus that will involve more than 2M SF on more than 340 acres.

Called Majestic Logistics Center, the project is set to include more than 1,300 car parking spaces, space for more than 1,000 truck trailers and a service area for trucks. The site abuts Fulton County Airport-Brown Field. The permit specifically lays groundwork for the airport in preparation for the facility, sources say.

This is the same site Majestic Realty had targeted for the Kroger Co refrigeration storage and distribution project that ultimately went to Gillem, where Gov. Nathan Deal and Forest Park Mayor David Lockhart were on hand for a groundbreaking last summer (above). Majestic previously filed a DRI for the 2.7M SF distribution campus. Sources say there is expected to be an announcement on the deal by Nov. 15.
