In a big coup for Atlanta's industrial sector, a Big Pharma company is opening an 800k SF distribution operation in Henry County.

Sources tell us that Bayer is in talks for inking a deal at 201 Greenwood Ct, an 800k SF distribution facility in the Greenwood Industrial Park in McDonough. JLL repped the deal from both the tenant and landlord side. Sources say this is a new requirement, and the operation (and hence the lease) will actually be conducted by Exel Logistics. Calls to both Exel and Bayer were not returned by press time, and JLL also did not respond to inquiries. Greenwood Industrial has been home to some of Georgia's largest distribution operations, and specifically 201 Greenwood, which used to house both Amazon.com and most recently Tyco Health Care. The facility is currently listed on the Georgia Department of Economic Development's website of available properties.
