Your publisher snapped this an hour ago of the Trump International Hotel and Tower on North Wabash in Chicago (we're here for a Bisnow Breakfast & Schmooze tomorrow—still time to jump on a plane and join us). Every time we stand at the bottom and look up we are truly awed. We're not commenting on the architecture (Skidmore Owings and Merrill with Bovis Lend Lease as contractor), but just the fact it looks so darn high up, much more dramatic from street level we think than the Empire State Building, for example. It is now (we should have quizzed you) the second tallest building in America, at 92 stories and 1,389 feet. But you intellectuals probably know it because the winner of the first season of The Apprenticechose as his prize to manage construction of it (though we're not convinced that turned out to be his actual job except in title).
