THE DEAL SHEET
The historic home to the Atlanta Daily World may go the way of the dodo bird. Taking its place may be an apartment complex.

THE DEAL SHEET
In a joint statement between Integral Group and Atlanta Daily Worldpublisher Alexis Scott, owners of the historic African American newspaper (which also own the building at  145 Auburn Ave) are planning  to sell the property  to Integral for an undisclosed amount. Integral will in turn will  partially demolish the building (keeping the facade) and will develop a 91-unit apartment complex. This came about after Atlanta's devastating 2008 tornado, which damaged the newspaper's building. The paper has kept it vacant since and approached Integral about the deal. We'll keep you posted as this moves along.
