Ford Fry, MF Sushi Headed to 280 Inman

We got word this morning from JPX Works and South City Partners that Vantage Realty Partners' Brittany McCall has snagged some big-name eateries for the 280 Inman project (being developed by the JV along with ELV Associates). The three new restaurants include a to-be-named Ford Fry eatery, Bartaco, and MF Sushi. Ford Fry will have a two-level, freestanding building at Elizabeth Street and North Highland Avenue, in front of the 200-unit apartment complex. Ford Fry said in an email that he's working with The Optomist exec chef Adam Evans on a sister restaurant for the jewel-box building—think an extensive oyster bar, fish, and shellfish. Bartaco—operators of Barcelona Wine Bar—will open a “beach culture” restaurant concept in the 39k SF retail portion. This also marks Houston-based MF Sushi's Atlanta return after its two restaurants closed in 2011 and 2012. The JV also leased a space to Bill Hallman for a new clothing store.
