As Fulton County Schools move in, PM Realty Group is helping a handful of companies move out. (Quickly, unless they want detention.)
We got word on a string of deals from PMRG's
Bill Weghorst during our third annual
Future of Buckhead summit this week. Fulton schools has purchased two of the three buildings at Powers Ferry Landing East in the Cumberland/Galleria submarket from KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT (6201 and 6151 Powers Ferry Rd) for the
administrative offices of Fulton's board of education. (So you'll know where to find helicopter parents.) One of those buildings will be
razed to make way for the new
Heards Ferry Elementary School as well.
Bill tells us to help facilitate this transition, PMRG
negotiated and
moved nine tenants totaling 50k SF from the other two buildings into 6151 Powers Ferry Rd. And Bill gave us another hint: Another tenant, this time from Wildwood Office Park, is
on track to lease 26k SF in move there as well. But for now, he's mum on the name of the company.
