

Sources confirm that State Farm has
purchased Hammond Exchange for
more than $45M. It seems the insurance giant is moving closer to a
consolidated campus in Central Perimeter that may involve additional
build-to-suit buildings, given the Hammond transaction includes land for development. It
leased 250k SF there a few months ago, along with deals at other Central Perimeter office buildings, including The Terraces. (State Farm ensures it's a good neighbor by owning so many buildings that it becomes its own neighbor.)
