Zoo Uncorked!
Last Thursday, we headed to the Smithsonian's National Zoo for Zoo Uncorked! The annual event, previously titled Grapes with the Apes, benefits Friends of the National Zoo. We snapped Ashley and Scott O'Reilly with Jon Groteboer and Jen Carrier in the VIP event that featured wine tastings with food and dessert pairings from 11 local restaurants.
The annual event featured over 20 wine tastings from local and national wineries and vineyards for attendees to taste and enjoy. Here, James and Raylene Grant with Paul Robertson.
In addition to the wine tastings, attendees enjoyed live music and an opportunity to stroll through "The Art of Conservation," an exhibition and sale of handcrafted goods from independent area artists. Here, Michael Ruggiano joins Jackie Oliver and Alex Roman.
