Ten Tigers Parlour!

Friday, we went to the Ten Tigers Parlour Soft Opening in Petworth. Ian and Eric Hilton, together with partners Scott Herman and chef Tim Ma, opened Ten Tigers Parlour, a neighborhood tea house and bar, this weekend. Here, Tim is flanked by TAA PR's Rebecca Chin and Fatback Media's Mary Kong-DeVito

The venue is in the former Chez Billy space and features an eclectic menu of cocktails, teas, Asian-style street food and pastries. The concept is inspired by Chinese cultural influences, where tea houses traditionally serve as the community gathering place not only to eat, but also to connect. The Victorian-era décor, complete with replicas of ancient Chinese paintings, original tile floors and dark wooden beams, provides a sultry yet cozy environment. The menu is crafted around a selection of handmade soup dumplings, bao buns, pan-fried dumplings, rice donburi and more of Tim’s childhood favorites. Pastry chef Mollie Bird has designed an offering of Chinese pastries for Ten Tigers, including egg tarts, sesame balls and almond breads.
