SHERO Walk!

Placeholder

Saturday, we headed to N Street Village in Logan Circle to help celebrate its 45th anniversary by participating in the SHERO Walk. N Street Village has been helping women find their inner "Shero" and many Village residents, community supporters and volunteers gathered to recognize N Street's commitment to support the nearly 2,000 women it serves each year. Here, Council member Jack Evans and N Street's CEO, Schroeder Stribling, kick off the walk and unveil a special "N Street Way" sign designated for its block.

The event wouldn't have been possible without the dozens of volunteers who support N Street Village and its programs. Here, Howard University students and volunteers Shanice Cooper, Jiwariya Solomon and Bao Nguyen help hand out coffee and other breakfast items.
