Much Ado About Synetic!

Last night we went to the Synetic Theater for its Much Ado About Synetic Benefit and Gala.

It raised funds for Synetic's mission to redefine theater, invest in artists' growth, and create unforgettable visceral experiences in their productions. During the '50s Las Vegas-themed pre-show reception, we snapped director and theater co-founder Paata Tsikurishvili with Crystal City BID’s Angie Fox and Vornado/Charles E. Smith’s Mitch Bonanno.

Gold and red décor and outfits filled the reception as guests dined on crab cakes, tuna tartare, chicken salad bites and wine. Waitresses had vintage trays with raffle tickets for signed cast posters, passes to Ski Liberty and theater tickets. Here, supporters of the theater, The Global LPG Partnership’s John Hauge and his wife Meg in their famous bowling shirts.

After wine and appetizers, guests enjoyed the show, and completed the night with a post-show champagne and dessert reception. Here, House Craft’s Kate Mathews, Bethesda Estate Services’ Carol Walser, nature photographer Suzanne Dater and Synetic Theater fundraiser Tacy Cook Telego.
