March of Dimes!

Last night we went to the National Building Museum for the March of Dimes annual Gourmet Gala.

We snapped Sen. Al Franken, who served Pumpkin Cornbread, and Sen. Mark Warner, who served stuffed eggs. The Gourmet Gala consists of Washington notables who participate in a competitive cook-off, preparing and serving their favorite dishes.

Sen. Angus King joins Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who served Alaskan salmon cakes. The night's chefs were judged by locally acclaimed professional chefs, with awards given in several categories.
