Bachelors & Spinsters Ball!
Saturday we went to the Bachelors & Spinsters Ball at The City Tavern Club. We snapped chairmen Chris Larsin and Christopher van Roijen flanking USPTO’s Amanda Aguirre.
The invitation-only ball supports the work of TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, which helps families of the fallen and honoring those who serve. Here, consultant Ashley Wells with U.S. Congress’ Tom Qualtere.
There were multiple sponsored bars, such as the Bacardi Havana Lounge and Mojito Bar, Heineken Red Star Tavern, and the Barefoot Bubbly Tropical Fusion Nook. The sold-out ball, which dates to 1949, brought almost 400 of DC's most eligible singles for a night of dancing to music by Soular Power.
