St. Jude Gourmet Gala!

Last night we went to the 16th annual St. Jude Gourmet Gala, Mardi Gras for the Kids, at the National Building Museum.

We snapped Richard Shadyac, CEO of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas in 1962, with chefs representing Art and Soul, Barcode, BLT, Blue Duck, Bourbon Steak, Brasserie Beck’s, Chef Geoff’s, Estadio, Federal, Founding Farmers, Georgia Brown's, Graffiato, J&G, Lima, and Proof.

Del Campo chef Victor Albisu, Lima and Fujimar's Gina Dakouni, and The Source chef Scott Drewno were among the 40 top chefs who generously donated their time so 750 could taste their fantastic food for a great cause.

There were live and silent auctions, including one-of-a-kind items such as an autographed guitar signed by Taylor Swift and a private cocktail party and fashion show from Neiman Marcus.
