Sneak Peak Taste of Georgetown!
Last night we got a sneak peak of this Saturday’s Taste of Georgetown. The preview soiree was hosted by the Georgetown BID on the luxurious rooftop of The Capella Hotel. We snapped the hotel’s Michael Katigbak and Marco Bustamante bookending Georgetown BID VP Nancy Miyahira with Mate restaurant executive chef Batkhuu Odonchuluun.
Delicious treats from Georgetown vendors, including sushi, cupcakes, and macaroons, left us excited about this weekend’s festivities. Here, Olivia Macaron’s Joelle Williams, Baked & Wired mastermind Teresa Velazquez, and the chef of the highly anticipated Chez Billy, Brendan L’Etoile.
In its 21st year, the upcoming Taste of Georgetown will feature new attractions including a cupcake eating contest, Chefs Showdown, and live acts curated by Gypsy Sally’s. Here, Washington City Paper’s Chloe Fedyna, Nick Armstrong, and VM PR’s Liz Wineriter.
