BuckleySandler took a break from financial services law recently to spend an afternoon putting together more than 250 sandwiches and assembling snack packs for Martha's Table. The DC-based program has provided free meals and education to those in need for the past 35 years.

Partner and Kolar Foundation chair Joe Kolar and partner Jeff Naimon also smiled for a photo. BuckleySandler pro bono and community service coordinator Stephanie Schlatter organized the outreach session, which was held in the law firm's DC office at 1250 24th St.

The lawyers worked with McKenna’s Wagon--Martha's Table’s volunteer-run mobile food service--to coordinate efforts and distribute the sandwiches. The service provides meals to 150-250 homeless men and women at three locations across DC every night.
