Senator Lee Talks Trolls

Forget fairy tales, the troll living under the bridge now is a patent troll. Senator Mike Lee, who's cosponsored legislation (with Sen. Leahy) to combat patent trolls, was the keynote at Venable's recent IP Symposium. He stressed the threat they pose—while acknowledging that it's difficult to define just what constitutes a patent troll. Here's Sen. Lee, right, with Venable partner Ralph Hardy.
Venable partner Justin Pierce introduced Senator Lee. The senator promised that the next Congress will again address the patent troll issue, and he's optimistic that patent reform legislation will pass.
