A whopping $1.1M poured in for the Children's Law Center at its annual Helping Children Soar benefit on the Kennedy Center rooftop terrace. More than 500 joined CLC to celebrate, including lawyers who volunteer as pro bono attorneys from over 100 firms. Outside on the terrace, we found WilmerHale's Angela Jaffee, Barbara Gabor, David Molot, and Kurt Kastorf.

The Children's Law Center, headed by Judith Sandalow, helped 5,000 children last year. Judith has led the nonprofit since 2000—growing its staff from three to more than 90 and bringing in hundreds of volunteer attorneys from law firms, companies, and government.
