Record Night for Children's Law Center

A whopping $1.1M poured in for the Children's Law Center at its annual Helping Children Soar benefit on the Kennedy Center rooftop terrace. The Pro Bono Champion for Children award went to Crowell & Moring. Here's Crowell partner Dan Forman, pro bono administrator Anita Stephen, and public service partner Susie Hoffman.

The Children's Law Center, headed by Judith Sandalow, helped 5,000 children last year. Judith has led the nonprofit since 2000—growing its staff from three to more than 90 and bringing in hundreds of volunteer attorneys from law firms, companies, and government.
