What's more important for a lawyer than having confidence? Bestselling authors and journalists Katty Kay and Claire Shipman teamed up to write The Confidence Code: The Science and Art of Self-Assurance—What Women Should Know. They recently discussed the book at Crowell & Moring. Here's partner Trina Fairley Barlow, government contracts co-chair Angela Styles, antitrust chair Wm. Randolph Smith, and National Law Journal editor Beth Frerking, with the authors, Claire and Katty.
Among the 100 attendees was Crowell & Moring partner and management board member David Siegel, who got some copies of Confidence Code signed for his daughters. He paused for a photo with Lockheed Martin associate GC Beth Kramer.
