The Hispanic National Bar Association's 39th Annual Convention at the Renaissance Hotel was a multi-day, high-profile affair (including still-AG Eric Holder, Sen. Robert Menendez, FTC chair Edith Ramirez). The Equal Justice Awards luncheon brought together around 2,000 lawyers and policy makers. Awardees included US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Judge Jimmie Reyna (Ricardo Urbina Lifetime Achievement Award), Gabby Pacheco, and DC Office on Latino Affairs (Hugh Johnson Awards). Here, Squire Patton Boggs' Mara Giorgio accepts the Rising Star Award, flanked by colleagues Loana Martin, Alvaro Mestre, and Brandon Roman.
