The Perfect Pot Priced at $8-$300

Placeholder

You read that right. There’s a $300 pot of tea on offer at Blue Duck Tavern. The Chinese tea is dubbed the “1985 Emperor’s Masterpiece,” and only seven kilos were produced, according to Sommelier Christian Eck. We snapped Christian pouring a much more affordable pot of Moonlight Litchi Blossom tea. Sipping on something exotic doesn’t have to break the bank. Afternoon tea is offered on weekends from 2:30-4:30pm for $40 per person. Service includes a pot of various styles of house tea plus all the pastries you can put away from Pastry Chef Naomi Gallego. Savory bites are offered as well.
