The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is the nation's only food festival that exclusively celebrates the cuisine of the South. This year, a number of chefs from our area have been invited to participate:NRG's Kyle Bailey, Tiffany McIsaac, and Greg Engert; Bayou Bakery's David Guas; Food & Wine's Best New Chef 2012 Karen Nicholas; and Wit & Wisdom's Clayton Miller. Featuring chefs and dishes from Texas to DC, the festival offers classes, tastings, and more. This year, it's also launching a Women's Series made up ofevents focused on the significant culinary contributions of women. As festival co-founders Elizabeth Feichter and Dominique Love explained, "After all,many of the South's culinary traditions come from women."
