Citronelle Won't Reopen in the Latham

Last summer, Citronelle, Michel Richard's iconic Georgetown restaurant, was forced to close due to water damage. As weeks turned into months with no sign of the restaurant's reopening, rumors began to fly that Citronelle had shuttered for good. In an interview last week, Richard confirmed that Citronelle would not be reopening--at least, not its original space in the Latham Hotel. He hinted that it might open elsewhere next year but wouldn't divulge anything more certain.
