Tech Workers Bailing On Their Jobs More Frequently

Attrition is a huge problem in the tech industry, according to Dice’s latest turnover data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Total quits in professional and business services in the first three quarters of 2015 averaged 508,200, the highest since 2002 and a 9% increase from the same period in 2014. Two big factors are a desire for higher pay and better location. The high turnover also means business and tech people are more confident in the economy. They’re also open to new jobs in cities with better housing and cost of living or with a company that has better work/life balance
