Tech Plans Immigration Reform March

A virtual march(much easier on the ankles) is brewing in the tech world to get immigration reform that includes keeping more skilled workers in the US. People like AOL founder Steve Case, 500 Startups founder Dave McClure, DropBox founder Drew Houston, and angel investor Ron Conway have joined the March for Innovation, which went public today. Organized by Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Partnership for a New American Economy, the group will reach members of Congress through social media and online campaigning tool Thunderclap. The group hasn't said it supports any particular proposals, but it's driven by stats like "every 100 immigrants who earn advanced degrees in the US and then stay to work in tech fields create 262 jobs for American workers."
