Why WeWork Isn't About Real Estate

In an interview with Betty Liu of Bloomberg Television WeWork co-founder Adam Neumann points out that real estate companies don’t grow to be worth $5B in five years…but says he has a "sharing economy for space." His clients have a new way of working, and he serves as a bridge between traditional landlords who need credit to build and finance properties, and freelancers and startups who don’t have the credit to rent space. Boston Properties chairman Mort Zuckerman (an investor) says Neumann should continue capitalizing on this culture to become a national leader in the sector.
