JLL has hired three brokers away from competitor CBRE to work in the firm's Bethesda office.

Steve Silverberg and Jim Cahill have joined JLL as senior vice presidents, while Alden Stabb joins as senior associate.

Silverberg was previously first vice president at CBRE, where he had worked since 2003, according to his LinkedIn page. Cahill was previously senior vice president at CBRE, and Stabb was an associate at CBRE, where he had worked since 2014.

Cahill should not be confused with JLL Managing Director James Cahill, another leasing broker who has been with the firm for 10 years.

Cahill and Stabb will work on JLL's office agency leasing team while Silverberg joins its tenant representation group. Among Cahill's accomplishments at CBRE was a successful leasing effort to bring the 470K SF Bethesda Place office complex from 55% to 97% occupied in 18 months. Cahill and Silverberg also leased the office space at Bethesda Row

"Steve, Jim and Alden have an impressive track record of delivering exceptional client service and strategic real estate solutions to their clients, and we are privileged to add them to our deeply talented suburban Maryland team," said JLL Managing Director Mark Levy, who leads the firm's Maryland office.
