Toll Brothers Plans 330 Homes on WMAL Radio Towers Site

Placeholder

Toll Brothers won the rights to a 75-acre site in Bethesda that's home to the radio towers of WMAL and plans to build up to 330 homes on the property. The purchase price will remain confidential until the company makes progress in the county’s approval process. Brokers have speculated the site could go for as much as $75M, Bethesda Beat reports. Plans call for a mix of single-family detached houses and townhomes with prices starting around $800k. Toll Brothers plans to meet with local civic associations and residents to ease concerns prior to formally pitching the project. Broadcasting company Cumulus Media owns the site and would be responsible for taking down the towers once the deal goes through. [Beth]
