Orlando-based ZOM Living has assembled eight adjacent single-family homes across from Bethesda Elementary School and is seeking to build a six-story multifamily project.

The developer last week presented neighbors with its plan to build up to 235 units on Arlington Road between Moorland and Edgemoor lanes, Bethesda Beat reports

The Bethesda development would include a range of unit sizes, from studios to three-bedrooms, and it would feature a rooftop pool, a fitness center and a wireless lounge and café.

Sitting about three blocks west of the Bethesda Metro Station and the high-rise buildings that surround it, ZOM's six-story project is designed as a transition between the tall, downtown buildings and the residential community.

ZOM, which has its mid-Atlantic office in Tysons, has also developed Arlington's 187-unit Beacon Clarendon apartments, which sold for $98.3M in February.
