NVR Proposes Six-Story Residential Building for Rosslyn

NVR Inc., the parent company of Ryan Homes, has proposed a six-story residential building with 63 units near the Rosslyn Metro station.

The building would be at 1411 Key Blvd, about three blocks from the station. It would replace the aging but affordable Metro Rosslyn Apartments. Residents were notified via letter that the building is being sold and they must vacate by Jan. 31, 2016, ARLnow reports. The Arlington Tenant’s Landlord Commission is reviewing the matter to ensure tenants are receiving the appropriate relocation assistance.

The extensive development in Rosslyn and what’s on tap for the future will be discussed at our Future of Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor event. We have assembled an all-star panel for the Nov. 18 event, which takes place at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel. [ARL]
