US Manufacturing Beats June Estimates 
June appears to have been a good month for US manufacturing. Total industrial production rose 0.6%, the largest gain in nearly a year. Factories saw a 0.4% increase in June after declining in May. The auto industry played a big part in June's surge, as well as growing domestic demand.
