Developer PN Hoffman has plans in the works to redevelop the Adams Morgan SunTrust plaza.

Joining PN Hoffman on the development team are Potomac Investment Properties and architect Eric Colbert & Associates, who shared the renderings of the proposed project with Bisnow. The team is slated to go before the ANC 1C Planning, Zoning and Transportation Committee on April 20, Urban Turf reports.

Plans for the plaza at 1800 Columbia St NW call for its redevelopment into a six-story condo building with 58 units and a penthouse level, two or more ground-level retail tenants, and one level of underground parking. The building will be topped off with a green roof, and a roof deck is planned for the fifth floor. The renderings also showcase a paved plaza that will feature outdoor café seating.

This is the latest project proposed for the Adams Morgan area. Earlier this month, Eastbanc offered more details on its planned project at a site adjacent to the Scottish Rite Center at 2800 16th St NW. Eastbanc’s plans call for a nine-story building that will include up to 120 units. [UT]
