Is JBG Selling Its White Flint Development Site?

If a newly released brochure from real estate firm Holliday Fenoglio Fowler is any indication, JBG may be looking to sell the 3.8-acre property where it planned to build one of White Flint’s largest proposed projects, Bethesda Magazine reports. Plans for the lot included possibly the tallest building in the county, at 300 feet, with a jutted glass façade and ground-floor swimming pool; a nearby boutique condo; and retail buildings. According to industry insiders, a sale could be one of the biggest ever for Montgomery County, since so few buyers have the means for a deal of this size. The property comes with approved plans for a potential 740k SF mixed-use development, including 200k SF of commercial space, 464 residential units, 700 parking spaces, and rights to a long-term lease on the 5.4-acre Lutrell parking lot across the street, which has an additional 450 spaces.
