Prince George's County will soon welcome its first free-standing rehabilitation facility in over two decades.

FutureCare Health & Management is building a $30M rehabilitation center at 1051 Brightseat Road in Landover, less than a mile from the site of the upcoming $543M Prince George's Regional Medical Center

The rehab center broke ground late last year and is expected to deliver in the spring. It will house 150 patients in 82 private rooms and 34 larger rooms. It will also feature a salon and spa, a media room, a library, meeting spaces, second-level patios, two courtyards and two gyms.

"This rehabilitation and wellness center will be the finest of its kind in Maryland and will offer futuristic thinking in layout, privacy, technology and care delivery models," FutureCare CEO Gary Attman said in a release. "We will provide a holistic approach to care, remembering that the patient and their family members are our primary focus."
