Why The Egg Could be The Future of Green Living

Placeholder

Behold, the "Ecocapsule." Designed by Nice Architects, a Slovakian studio, this 86 SF living space is wholly portable and self-sustaining, with a wind turbine, solar panels and a 9,744-watt-hour battery. It's a micro-unit on micro-steroids, with room for two, complete with a fold-out bed, kitchenette and composting toilet. The creators anticipate coming to market by the end of the year, but no price has been released. But getting one to the states will be costly; shipping costs could soar above $2,200.
