UVA Locates Space In Rosslyn For MBA Program

The University of Virginia is bringing its MBA program to a new location in Rosslyn.

The university’s Darden School of Business will take over 2k SF at 1000 Wilson Blvd, a site within walking distance of the Rosslyn Metro station. The school will offer executive degree candidates the opportunity to pursue either an executive or global MBA with programs slated to start this fall, DCInno reports.

Programs will be identical to those offered at the main campus in Charlottesville and tack on the frequently requested additions of additional electives for GEMBA students and more international training for EMBA candidates. Each group is expected to have about 65 to 70 candidates per year, slightly less than the number of students in the programs on the main campus.

It’s been a busy start to the new year over at 1000 Wilson Blvd, the site of Monday Properties’ twin office towers, along with neighboring 1100 Wilson Blvd. Just last week, Sinclair Broadcasting, the parent company of WJLA and news Channel 8, re-upped its 100k SF lease at the towers with a five-year extension. [DCInno]
