Bisnow Scoop: Transwestern Snags Exec from Cushman & Wakefield

Placeholder

Transwestern is making a serious push into Virginia, and now they have a former Cushman & Wakefield executive leading the charge. Tom Rogers has been named a Transwestern senior managing director and will head up the firm's Tysons office and tenant advisory services for the Mid-Atlantic region. “Tom’s considerable experience in tenant advisory and global corporate services for Fortune 500 companies uniquely qualify him to strategically grow our existing Tenant Advisory Services offering throughout the region,” Phil McCarthy, executive managing director of Transwestern Mid-Atlantic, says. Tom has represented Boeing, IBM and Ernst & Young in the past, and was named Cushman's NoVa market leader in February, so he knows how to sign big deals. And he's another name that's leaving Cushman before its merger with DTZ is official.
