The late Terry Holzheimer, who was head of Arlington County Economic Development, has been recognized by the National Capital Chapter of the American Planning Association recently for his impact on the county. Terry’s family accepted the award from APA chapter president Damon Orobona at the 2014 National Capital Planning awards ceremony in Silver Spring. The awards, which go to programs, initiatives and leadership for planning in the DC region, also gave the top prize for a comprehensive plan to Plan Prince George’s 2035 initiative.
