Level 2 Development's David Franco thinks thenew Busboys and Poets in Takoma can help shape the neighborhood.David (with colleague Jeff Blum) told us this morning that the restaurant/bookstore/meeting place concept--which will occupy 6,500 SF at his firm's Takoma Central development--is exactly what the neighborhood needs, since it lacks a community gathering place. Takoma Central (which Level 2 is developing with Federal Capital Partners, set for a Q3 '14 delivery) should be a bridge between the Takoma Metro station and the greater neighborhood, David adds.
