Ivanhoé Cambridge is putting iconic Bentall Centre on the market, and EVP Arthur Lloyd expects the sale of the four office towers (21 to 35 storeys, with 1.5M SF of office space and 53k SF of underground retail), which could prove to be one of the largest transactions in the city’s history, will attract worldwide interest. “We believe this is appetite from global institutional investors seeking stable returns in core assets,” he said in a statement. Ivanhoe owns the complex with Great West Life Assurance, an original project investor. [VS]
