Agellan Inks Deals At Parkway Place, Which Is Off The Block

Agellan Commercial REIT has done two leasing deals at Parkway Place, and says it is no longer prioritizing the potential sale of the complex at Highway 401 and DVP, citing positive leasing momentum and a lowly loonie. (The first lease is for 10,500 SF for an eight-year term, the second for 6k SF over a 10-year term; tenants weren't disclosed.) This takes committed occupancy at Parkway Place to 88%. With the sale of the office park off the table, the trust said it's focused on proposed development opportunities at Parkway Place—where it's seeking approval to construct a new retail facility and parking garage—and on "improving the overall lease profile” within the complex.
