Fortress And Kingridge Sell Bronte Crossing Site

Toronto Land

Fortress Real Developments and Kingridge Developments have sold a six-acre site at 1099 and 1105 Bronte Road in Oakville that was to be the future home of Bronte Crossing. The plan called for the 170k SF development (rendered above) — just north of the Queen Elizabeth Way and fronting North Service Road and Bronte — to include five buildings, a mix of retail, office condos and self-storage space. The site was sold to the Region of Halton, which Kingridge president Dan Marion said had an “immediate need” to secure the parcel. The land was acquired by the developers in 2015.
