Summer School...By Choice?

We thought summer was a time for student associations to shut down. Thats not the case for us, says Real Estate Ryerson president Colton Creber. They're working to found associate programs and workshops for the general membership, to be overseen by their board of directors, who are industry executives and past presidents of the organization. The programs will bridge the gap between classroom and boardroom, Colton says. (Sounds a lot better than when we had to retake geometry all summer.) In the classroom, they teach a lot of textbook skills, but what students need is more assistance in areas that are directly applicable to the first day they sit down in an office. Real Estate Ryerson has around 500 members (some photographed here at a March event).
